HOST FAMILY

Roll of host family activities is very important for international exchange. Our Atlantic Friendship Association (AFA) has invited two kinds of English Speaking People so far: delegation from Corning City, New York, USA and assistant language teachars (ALT) in Shizuoka prefecture.

JET programme

The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme, now in its 27th year, is aimed at grass-roots international exchange between Japan and other nations. The number of countries sending participants has risen over the years, as has the number of participants. In 2013, the Programme welcomed 4,372 participants from 40 countries. No　matter　where　you　go　in　Japan　today,　you　will　find　JET　participants　developing　strong　relationships with their local communities through foreign language education and international exchange activities.
