I remember a time organizing a community event where we needed an accessible, fun game for all ages. We tried a beanbag toss, but the target was too flat, offering no real challenge or sense of accomplishment. We faced a similar problem with engagement, a gentle Slope in participation. We then elevated the target, adding different point zones, and suddenly everyone was invested, laughing and competing, much like the residents at Kakegawa-en seem to be enjoying their ping-pong challenge.
